Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs as designed. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very nice. Only a couple very minor dings, no rust or bondo. Way above average. Paint: Paint is very nice. Has a couple very minor scratches and two paint chips on hood like the one pictured. Above average also. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it won't peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in good shape - all shiny with no fading, but has a few small chips like the one photographed.Other: Lower stainless bright trim is very nice. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass is good with no chips or cracks. Undercarriage is beautiful - no rust as seen in pics. Underhood sheet metal, wheelhouses, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust either as seen in pics. Hubcaps are in nice shape with minor curb rash.
INTERIOR: Interior is nice. Dash has no cracks. Door panels are in very nice shape. Cloth seating areas are in great shape and clean and firm. Carpet in seating area is excellent with no notable wear or issues. Headliner is in nice shape with one small tear in the back, and starting to shrink near cargo windows but still looks nice. Cargo area carpeting is clean, and third seat area is, too.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out GREAT - very tight and sound as expected of miles. Steering is tight, alignment is good, and suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires are nearly new whitewall radials and you can see the blue still on some of them. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives great like a low mile wagon - drive anywhere.
