Description of 1977 Lincoln Town Car

1977 is a special year for the Town Car. It's the first year for the tall vertical grill and the last year for the low fender skirt. It's also the final year for the unique linear speedometer which was first introduced in 1966. The big 460 cubic inch V8 was no longer standard equipment after 1977 (it became optional in '78 and and was no longer available in '79). This is an outstanding 31,000 mile example that's all original. It's finished in a very rare color combination - Midnight blue (non metallic) with a gorgeous burgundy leather interior and matching burgundy painted pinstripes. This is a high option example and it's in pristine condition in & out! It features factory polished aluminum wheels and new custom double band whitewalls which replicate the optional double stripe tire available in 1977 (some of the photos below were taken prior to the new tires being installed).
